Market Development Manager

Role: pilot marketing and market development activities, define and implement agreed upon market development/commercial strategy



  • Marketing degree, sales/marketing and field business experience (1-2 years)
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular medical device field and working environment
  • Experience in imaging or other high tech is a plus

  • Home-based position first half of 2018, followed by more presence in Paris office (to be agreed upon)


Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

➢ Revise market development plan as necessary
➢ Assess market and keep track of market dynamics
➢ Monitor competitive activities
➢ Prospect for new clients
➢ Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
➢ Represent IMMR at partner events or scientific conferences
➢ Organise road-shows and business development appointments with Corp. Scientific Direction
➢ Identify commercial opportunities with existing customers or new prospects and follow through
➢ Coordinate marketing activities
➢ Define and deliver on PR and communication strategy
➢ Approach targeted companies or events for any and all possible partnership opportunities
➢ Attend key medical conference and other meetings to meet potential customers
➢ Manage website and contents, under the guidance of the Scientific Directors
➢ Oversee creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements, and other marketing materials
➢ Design print ads and publications, as required
➢ Ensure brand messages are consistent
➢ Gather and analyze customer insight
➢ Engage community on social media, when decided


Compensation package : 35 – 55 K€ depending on past experience
