You might guess that these are the electrical cables of one of our three-dimensional rotational fluoroscopy C-arms, but no, this is the circuit panel that runs IMMR’s brand-new, fully equipped hybrid operating room (OR) that is waiting for you!
Hybrid ORs enable completing procedures that combine surgical techniques, interventional techniques and intraoperative imaging such as intravascular or intracardiac echocardiography. They are essential in the development and preclinical evaluation of sophisticated new medical technology.
The newly completed third expansion of our facility in Paris will bring IMMR’s total number of ORs to six, with three of them being hybrid ORs. This new addition will increase our capacity to conduct Proof of Concept, feasibility/R&D and GLP preclinical studies, and it will also enable us to host larger training and technology demonstration sessions for our clients and their clinical investigators.
Our new hybrid OR features a Philips FD20 Flat Panel Angiography System, Philips EPIQ Evolution 3.0 Echocardiography Console, and Zonare ViewMate™ Z Intracardiac Ultrasound Console. All of our other state-of-the-art equipment, including endoscopes, Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) catheter systems, remain accessible to cover all your preclinical research needs in every therapeutic area. Of course like all of our operative suites, OR 6 is linked to our IMMRemote video, imaging and data streaming platform so that our client teams can participate virtually in cases from anywhere in the world.
We look forward to welcoming you to our facility and working with you in our newest, most advanced space.
